Virtual Lacandon exhibition

This online exhibition is the largest Lacandon collection worldwide that can be watched online.

The online collection highlights the material culture of the Lacandones of Chiapas, Mexico. More general information about the Lacandon culture can be found on the other Mayaweb pages. The collection includes an array of objects not only of cultural, historical and aesthetic interest, but also of spiritual significance. Through this collection, the living environment and mentality of the Lacandon culture is sketched.
